Graphics and launch guidelines of the BBC Podcasts Channel
into the North American Market.
BBC were launching their own Podcasts channel into the North American market. In the UK Market most of these podcasts are fee free on their BBC Sounds platform.
Working in conjunction with the Apple Podcasts website, BBC designers devised a graphic “soundwaves” approach that would portray the high quality content that the BBC provides and utilising serveral graphic waves the “content” was placed behind the front white waves, interacting with the middle purple and orange waves and using a clean either dark or light background suitable to the “content” colourways.
This gave the whole concept a sophisticated layered look with interacting moving waves.

BBC Podcasts branding delivered across all devices and dynamic sizes.

3 different background colour options were used, one for use with dark content, one for use with light content and a third option for exclusive content only.
