Whilst working for WorkplaceBuzz, one of the co-founders Dr Mark Slaski, was setting up his own sister company to harness and help promote the some of the talented individuals he came across during his WorkplaceBuzz Reports and Reviews he was performing on businesses throughout the UK. The brief was to design a logo that works in a symbiotic relationship to WorkplaceBuzz and have some of the aesthetics that makes it feel like a natural sister company. Most of the colours used were based upon the original WorkplaceBuzz logo with similiar type and treatment.
Initially we were striving to create something very similiar to the WorkplaceBuzz people that were represented in the logo, but in the end, we used just the head dots and arranged them in a globe like sphere – thus creating the “world” of Workplace Talent.
There were several options for the corporate identity, but then we settled on one that was very similiar to the WorkplaceBuzz reports. However, the photography had to be more like individuals that stand out, and so we used several portrait shots assigned to each of their core values of Assessing, Developing and Engaging staff and employees.
Several reports and workbooks were designed to give the whole project it’s look, feel and tone.
